We work with buyers in building shell on any of the vacant properties that you buy from us. We are able to build better houses for lower prices.
–We own the company that does the the excavating for the houses we are building.
–We buy windows/doors, shingles, lumber, and most other products in mass quantities.
–We own the company that makes the rustic siding that we put on our homes.
–We get the natural stone veneer direct from the quarries.
What is a shell?:
Everything will be complete on the outside except paving the driveway and concrete walkways.
Inside–just a shell. The home will appear complete from the outside. You will have to do electrical, insulation, hvac and plumbing. We can introduce you to a local builder that has completed numerous shells for our buyers. We can also introduce you to a local bank that has been financing most of the lots and homes.
Shells include:
–Basements are 8″ thick poured concrete at a full 8′ height–No posts!
–Floor truss system allows all HVAC, plumbing, to be completely hidden above 8′!
–Architectural shingles!
–Rustic log siding.
–Walkout basement is faced in real stone. The same stone was used extensively at Princeton University’s buildings.
–Energy efficient windows
